| IE8 New Tab - very slow to load I find that opening a new tab (ctrl + t) takes up to 30 seconds before it loads up. However, if I open web links in a new tab, it loads up very quickly as expected. I can't understand why it is behaving like this. btw, I'm running WinXP Home on an Atom N270. |

| Re: IE8 New Tab - very slow to load I had a similar problem.IE8 was very slow to load and stalled connecting. It turned out to be ( for me)the list of restricted sites installed by programmes such as Spybot.Go-IE/tools/internet options/security/restricted sites/sites and see if there's a list in there. They need to be deleted. One by one or there is a registry entry which can be deleted which will do them all at once.If you're interested I can post the regedit or have a look on Google "IE8 slow to load".The information's out there.IE8 doesn't need the list-got it's own system apparently.ATB.
