Find out where this came from, e.g. which package installed it
and uninstall that package. Then see how your symptom changes.
(Obviously then it won't crash in that module again. <w>)

Hmm... apparently some people are just renaming that module.
I don't think that that would be sound practice.

If you read Japanese there might be a hotfix available. ; )

BtwVdpCapFilter.dll isn't part of Internet Explorer 8. It isn't part of
Windows. You installed software that also installed an add-on. Bet if
you run IE8 in its no add-ons mode that the problem goes away - but
obviously you will lose whatever functional this add-on provides.
