| Adobe Flash IE7 question. Version 10b of Adobe caused me grief, so I downgraded to 9. Today it "again" for the 5th time, asked me to update so I went for it. Are they changing anything, or will my troubles return? Thanks. |

| RE: Adobe Flash Tony, Make sure you use the Adobe app that removes the previous flash version before installing 10b. There may be a reboot required in the process. The newer version resolved a screen freeze issue I've had for over a year. And a few media sites (CBS for one) still don't have their detection up to date to recognize the new installation and nag about upgrading before allowing full screen video. I'll preface my comments by saying that I've never had a problem with any version of the Flash Player on Windows XP SP3. That's not to say that others have not had issues, but those issues generally stem from installation problems of one type or another. >Are they changing anything, You would have to ask Adobe that question, or inquire on the Adobe Flash Player Forum. The latest version of Flash Player 10 is still 10.0.22.87(Flash10b.ocx). or will my troubles return? We don't know what your troubles were, or what troubleshooting steps you took other than downgrading to Version 9:) You might want to browse around in the Flash Player forum to see if there is any new buzz relating to your issues with the Flash Player: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforu...184&forumid=44 Good luck, Donald Anadell Thanks. > |
