| IE7 won't launch About two hours ago, IE7 crashed and now won't launch. Firefox works fine, so I know its not my server. Last night I loaded Adobe Air and AlertThingy for twitter. When I shut down last night some updates automatically loaded as well. I don't know what they were - the auto-updates I presume. Can't think of anything else that's changed. IE7 worked when I initially logged on four hours ago. What's going on? |

| Re: IE7 won't launch Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when posting to this newsgroup. There is a very good chance are that you are seeing the affects of a hijackware infection. 1. See if you can download/run the MSRT manually: http://www.microsoft.com/security/ma...e/default.mspx 2. Run this online scan (in safe mode w/networking, if need be): http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/howsafe.htm 3. Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting the requested logs in an appropriate forum, not here.
