| Window opens to small size I can open to a full size webpage the first time (from address bar, favorites or run, for example) but when I click on a link in that webpage, the new page (and subsequent pages) always opens as a very small window that I have to maximize before I can read it. How can I set all pages to open full size? Thanks |

| Re: Window opens to small size Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize) Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the size next time. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows -Internet Explorer On Thu, 19 Jun 2008 08:31:03 -0700, in microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general, jweber <jweber@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >I can open to a full size webpage the first time (from address bar, favorites >or run, for example) but when I click on a link in that webpage, the new >page (and subsequent pages) always opens as a very small window that I have >to maximize before I can read it. > >How can I set all pages to open full size? >Thanks |

| Re: Window opens to small size Close all but one (1) XX window. "Grab" the corners of the remaining window with your cursor and "stretch" it to the desired size but do NOT maximize it! Now close the resized window. The resized window MUST be the last window closed in order for its size to be remembered. Or you can install IE New Window Maximizer and forget about it! http://www.jiisoft.com/iemaximizer/ deadeye wrote: > i tried this several times but my ie8 still opens small > is there a command line switch to set ie8 to maximize? > i can put it in folder options > > > "Alan Edwards" wrote: > >> Try stretching the small window to full size.
