| Adding Favorites; can folders have ability to expand / contract? In IE6 when clicking on Favorites >> Add to Favorites , a window appeared and had had the list of folders and favorites in it. But unlike IE7, in IE6 I thought it was possible to expand / contract the folder views in that window. Currently in IE7 I just get a long list of folders, all with their Yellow Folder Icons, and everything in the entire Favorites folder is expanded. I can view the favorites easily enough, by putting them in the pinned up "Favorites Center", but even when going through the Favorites Center and selecting "Add to Favorites", it's still the same already expanded list of folders that appears. Is there some way to not have to view adding favorites this way [other than just adding them anywhere and then using Explorer or 'Organize Favorites' to move them where I'd like them to be]? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

I'm afraid what you see "Expanded Folders" is what you get in IE7. Unfortunately, IE8 Beta exibits the same behavior:( Good luck, Donald Anadell > > I can view the favorites easily enough, by putting them in the pinned up > "Favorites Center", but even when going through the Favorites Center and > selecting "Add to Favorites", it's still the same already expanded list of > folders that appears. > > > Is there some way to not have to view adding favorites this way [other > than > just adding them anywhere and then using Explorer or 'Organize Favorites' > to > move them where I'd like them to be]? > > Any help would be very much appreciated. > Thanks. |
