Keeping the tabs for next session

Hi,

When I close IE 7 and I have more than one tab open, I receive that dialog
asking me what I want to do with the tabs:

1 - Open them next time I use IE
2 - Don't show this dialog again

What happens is that I ALWAYS have to select option 1 (Open them next time)
because I ALWAYS want to restore my current session the next time I will run
IE 7.

My question is: is there a way to tell IE 7 that I ALWAYS want it to open
the existing tabs when I close the application and open it again and so
avoiding me of seeing this dialog every time and having to select the first
option every time?

Thx.
Andy

Get the IE7Pro plug-in.
Disable the IE tab option "Warn me when closing multiple tabs".
In IE7Pro preferences, base settings, enable:
- Tab session restore.
- Restore last sessions automatically.

Re: Keeping the tabs for next session

Thanks for the tip.

I really don't like the idea of installing a 2.24 MB plug-in only to have
_one_ feature that I strongly believe should be already part of IE7. But I
may give it a try since I dislike a lot this behavior in IE7. I mostly use
Firefox, that has session restore and recovery built-in but I keep trying to
get used to IE again (IE was my browser of choice before Firebird/Firefox
arrived).

Well, you might only use one feature now but it has lots to offer. Ad
blocking, crash recovery, mouse gestures, move menubar to top and remove
searchbar (registry hacks available but more convenient as option
settings), and several others you might want to play with.

Re: Keeping the tabs for next session

What I hate about this feature is, even when I choose to exit a tab or an IE
session, every time I open IE, I get the session restore tab. I figured out
how to disable that from these postings, but I have now lost any advantages,
too. Just my 2 cents, worth nothing.
