| Restoring the IE7 menu bar Somehow I disappeared it. Per IE7 help I press Alt to re-appear it temporarily. Then, to make it permanent, IE7 help tells me to click on Tools and then select menu bar. But when I click Tools, although there are a number of options, menu bar isn't one of them. So how do I permanently restore the menu bar. And is this a bug in the Help file? -- PT |

| RE: Restoring the IE7 menu bar I have no menu bar. That's why I need to restore it. I have no tools, no file, no edit, no nothing. But can you restore menu bar in Full Screen Mode? I can't. IE7 represents everything wrong with microsoft these days. There software is about 20% wishes of the customer and 80% microsoft. I want to be able to customize my browser for maximum webpage viewing area at the same time having quick access to my favorites in drop down form. No problem in Firefox or IE6, but IE7 gives you either three rows of browser bars or full screen with Autohide (which I like) but takes away the menu bar. If it was up to Microsoft, your browser would have a forwards and backward button with a fixed MS search page that sends you directly to a wepage that Microsft feels is most relevant. Not having the freedon to customize is not good these days but Microsoft seems to be all about that. |
