| Please help me, problem about installing an activeX control. Hello, I'm very new to this and what I doing now is to create a wep page that require user to install an activeX control at the first visit. I created a CAB file which contain a .MSI and a .INF files. And this is content of my .INF ================================================== ====================== [version] signature="$CHICAGO$" AdvancedINF=2.0 Provider=%Provider% [DefaultInstall] CopyFiles=install.files [DestinationDirs] install.files=11 [install.files] setup.exe = setup.exe [Add.Code] Kebasket.Inf = Kebasket.Inf [Setup Hooks] hook1=hook1 [Kebasket.Inf] file=thiscab [Strings] Provider = "Connex Business Online" CBO = "Connex" [hook1] run=setup.exe /i "%EXTRACT_DIR%\Kebasket.msi" /qn ================================================== ====================== Which information I've given, when I open this page at first time IE will ask for installing myxxx.cab with red cross (not signed). But there was a problem after I clicked instal, it's will alert a message which information of "Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system componentes." and the activeX will not be installed. Please tell me what I've missed. And what do I have to do or config more? Thank you. |
