DLL errors causing issues with internet explorer Hi all,
Recently I have started recieving the following errors on startup of Windows Vista;
- Error loading X:\Windows\system32\rrtdqxao.dll: The specified module could not be found
- Error loading X:\Windows\system32\khfFWoPg.dll: The specified module could not be found
These particular dll's were identified as containing trojan horse virus's and AVG moved them to the virus volt. However this seems to have impacted on internet explorer and firefox.
Some web pages will now no longer load and others are fine. For example hotmail.com will not load and google.com will. However when searching on google the search results page will not load. However if I set the home page to hotmail.com on starting explorer it will load and work for a limited time before then not being able to work again. Firefox is also experiencing errors such as these and is also trying to close on every action.
I think this all might link to a virus which has affected the IEsetting.dll file. If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge about this issue please let me know!
I have reinstalled firefox and IE and tried searching for information on the dll's to no avail.
Thanks in advance, |
