View HTML Source Code in IE7

Questions For XP Prof Sp2 with IE7:
1. In IE7-Tools-Internet Options-Fonts-Language Script I enter "Cyrillik
Script"; System takes it and then overrides it back to "Latin Base". Why?
What is wrong? How make Cyrillik stay?

2. I specified in windows XP SP2 default text editor as WordPad instead of
NotePad. It works OK in all text files. But when I select in IE7 View-Source
the code opens again in NotePad, not in WordPad. So I have to specify text
editor in IE7. How to do it?
Please Help

No idea. Is it possible that you have a third party security program
installed that is preventing the change from sticking in the Registry?

How make Cyrillik stay?

How to do it?

Use "TweakUI" Powertoy for Windows XP:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx
Direct Download
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

Good luck,

Is this for one page, or all? If it's for particular pages, the pages likely
language overrides.

Tools > Internet Options. Go to the Programs tab, what is listed for HTML
Editor?

It definitely can be changed, I use EditPad Lite and view source brings it
up as expected.

Re: View HTML Source Code in IE7

Hi Ilya,

Tools>Internet Options - General Tab, Accessibility button. Check "Ignore
font styles specified on web pages"

All web pages will use the font family specified in the Fonts dialog.

see http://www.iecustomizer.com/?url=iestyles_download.asp

Regards.
