| IE7 sucks!! This is the only browser which closes for absolutely no reason and then reloads another instance as though it is doing us a favor. Many times I would be typing something in the web and the browser will close. I will lose everything I typed. And second, why is that when I view youtube, IE7 slows down drastically? If I try to open another tab with youtube, it takes a loooooooooooooooooooooong time. These are but a couple of crappy things in IE7. Windows Vista is a major major disappointment. Its crappy start to finish. |

| Re: IE7 sucks!! Uh huh. This is a newsgroup of your fellow users, who try to help each other with questions about Internet Explorer. (Sounds like you could use some help.) Your problem is often caused by installing an incompatible add-on. Start your troubleshooting with this: "Internet Explorer stops responding, stops working, or restarts" http://support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_ie_intro -or- 1- Start IE 7 with no add-ons. Start Internet Explorer from a shortcut on your desktop with the following target (don't forget the quote marks): "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff If the problem no longer occurs, one (or more) add-ons was causing the problem. 2- Reset IE 7 to its original configuration. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click Reset. If the problem no longer occurs, one (or more) incorrect configuration settings was causing the problem. [If you want to continue to use any of your add-ons after a reset, you may have to reinstall them.] 3- Problems with IE 7 can also be caused by the presence of viruses or other malicious software. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Vinoo wrote: > This is the only browser which closes for absolutely no reason and then > reloads another instance as though it is doing us a favor. Its crappy start to finish. There is little wrong with Vista and/or IE7. Maybe your attitude needs an overhaul? |
