Downloading data streaming video

Some sites with streaming videos let you watch the videos live as well as
downloading it and watch it on your PC. Some only have video streaming, but
no download link. Is there anyway to go around it? i.e. somehow download the
video stream on my PC even if the download link doesn't exist?

Hi,

There are several sites that cater to the downloading of Videos from sites
like YouTube...see:
http://www.savevideodownload.com/

For capturing/downloading streams that use the mms:// protocol (Microsoft
Media Services) to stream the file, you might take a look at the following
third party downloader:

Net Transport:
http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm
