IE 7 issues

I am having problems disabling the proxy server setting I set up a while ago.

I go into connections->Lan Settings and uncheck the box for using a proxy
server on the LAN. As an extra, I also erase the address before I do this.
I then click on OK twice and that seems to solve the problem.

When I get out of IE 7 and go back in, the Proxy Server setting are there
again as if I never unchecked the box and deleted them. I've looked in the
registry for that proxy IP to see if it was being assigned from elsewhere but
no luck.

Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks,

Kevin

Re: IE 7 issues

WIndows version?

One or more options/settings in an ever-growing number of third-party
applications may be disallowing the change(s) from "sticking". These include
but are not limited to Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer,
SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, CounterSpy, AVG Anti-Spyware,
Norton AntiVirus, McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware, NOD32, and Zone Alarm
(Free, Pro, & Security Suite).
