| Re: Vista ie7 still running in task manager A lot of people are having this problem. IE 7 sucks! I even have a CMD file that says (I put a shortcut on my quick launch bar): C:\system-x\sysinternals\pstools\pskill.exe iexplore.exe Of course you need to download pstools from sysinternals.com first. | Re: Vista ie7 still running in task manager Thanks for the advice. I didn't install ad-aware after I got Vista because I thought Windows Defender was taking care of it. It found 600 tracking cookies and 4 of something else that I had to reboot to get rid of, but it said nothing critical. Unfortunatly ie still staying open in task manager. Would it do any good to post the hijackthis log to this newsgroup?
