| viewing probelm with YouTube but only on one computer I am very puzzled with this - on my wife's laptop YouTube videos load quickly and can be viewed. On my home computer on the same router, I very often see no videos from YouTube being loaded - just that circle telling me to wait. I naturally assumed it was a setting in IE7 that somehow is blocking this .... or not? I've also looked at my firewall settings and lowered it. I am out of ideas. Suggestions? Thanks, DH |

| Re: viewing probelm with YouTube but only on one computer My wife's car is so much faster than mine...and we drive on the same highway. With no further details the best you can hope for is an educated guess. I'll make two guesses: 1- YouTube uses Flash. Is Flash installed on your computer? 2- Has your security software blocked Flash or in another way blocked content from YouTube? --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Dave Horne wrote: > I am very puzzled with this - on my wife's laptop YouTube videos load > quickly and can be viewed. | Re: viewing probelm with YouTube but only on one computer Leonard, After I posted here I went to YouTube's Help site (which I should have done to begin with I guess) and followed their instructions to remove Flash, reboot, and install the latest version. There are still some videos that won't load on my 'tower' but will load on my wife's laptop, but I'm not seeing error messages and loading many more videos. Problem improved if not yet solved. Thanks, DH "Leonard Grey" <Leonard@Grey.invalid> wrote in message news:OPfiI$nvIHA.4376@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > My wife's car is so much faster than mine...and we drive on the same > highway. > > With no further details the best you can hope for is an educated guess. > I'll make two guesses: > > 1- YouTube uses Flash.
