Vista and IE7 -can't follow links

I have Vista Business and have NEVER been able to follow any links to the
Internet.
I can only access through my Yahoo mail account...and if I apply serv pack
in Office 2007, I can't open Internet at all...have tried diagnostics in
Microsoft under "IE cannot display the webpage" to no avail....any help? IE
came with Dell system.

Vista or Vista SP1?

Do you have any other browsers installed (e.g., Firefox)? If not, did you
use another machine to post here?

Is Yahoo Toolbar or any other third-party toolbars installed?

Are you a DSL subscriber and did you download/install any software from your
ISP?

Re: Vista and IE7 -can't follow links

Don't think I did SP1, was afraid to...
No other browsers
Yahoo toolbar installed
DSL, moved all settings over from XP SP2 using Laplink and everything just
installed way back then...fyi, just had trouble following the link from this
e-mail, too...I can usually follow an e-mail link.
I think I've tried all those fixes below, but will go back through them.
