| Widows Explorer When I want to remove a programme, I go into the control panel and a message says that windows explorer has stopped working. Then it says that the problem is that fire fox has to be upgraded to version 2 which I did and still the problem persists... |

Technically, Windows Explorer is the file manager gui for the Windows OS. Without knowing which version of Windows you have, I am not exactly sure how to proceed. I've only ever seen that issue with Firefox when it has been updated under a Limited User Account in Windows XP. The solution was to changed the affected user account to have administrative rights, and allow the Fx update to proceed. -- Norman ~Shine, bright morning light, ~now in the air the spring is coming. ~Sweet, blowing wind, ~singing down the hills and valleys. |
