| Can you open a new tab by clicking on a "links" saved site? Hopefully the subject line wasn't too confusing, but what I'm asking is, I've added the "Links" toolbar to the top of my explorer window. I only have 2 linked sites there, and when I click one, it changes the tab from my current homepage to the new link. However, if I click on the second linked site, it will reuse that same tab, rather than opening a new one. What I'm trying to figure out is, is there a way to open a new tab, with a current tab open, when clicking a linked site, from the links toolbar? Is anyone as confused as I am just typing that? :o) |

(Firefox does however....) |

| Re: Can you open a new tab by clicking on a "links" saved site? Gordon is correct...I only wanted to add that there are probably many third-party add-ons that will do what you wish. IE7Pro is one example. However, before you consider an add-on make sure it is fully compatible with IE 7. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est TonyT wrote: > Hopefully the subject line wasn't too confusing, but what I'm asking is, I've > added the "Links" toolbar to the top of my explorer window. | Re: Can you open a new tab by clicking on a "links" saved site? Okay, thanks for the help. I know I can press the Ctrl key and then click the link, which will open a new tab, but I was hoping to bypass that extra step if there was an automatic way of doing it. Thanks again, Tony "Leonard Grey" wrote: > Gordon is correct...I only wanted to add that there are probably many > third-party add-ons that will do what you wish. | Re: Can you open a new tab by clicking on a "links" saved site? That's how Links bar works. Here's a workaround: Open Favorites Center to Links folder | Click on the blue arrow to the right of the link to open it in a new tab. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ TonyT wrote: > Hopefully the subject line wasn't too confusing, but what I'm asking is, > I've added the "Links" toolbar to the top of my explorer window.
