IE7 won't display some (most) Unicode fonts

IE7 won't display a lot of unicode fonts for me. As a test, I am using this
website:

http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/latin_extended_a.html

The characters that will display in IE7 are 338, 339, 352, 353, 376, 381,
and 382. The rest of the characters give the empty rectangle (U+FFFD).

Firefox 2.0.0.3 will display every font on this page.

Both browsers have the character encoding on this page set to "Unicode
(UTF-8)".

I'm on WinXP SP2, fully patched. Please help.

Re: IE7 won't display some (most) Unicode fonts

Hi,

Are you using one of the font families listed on the page?

Tools>Internet Options, General tab, Fonts button.

Works fine for me in IE7 on Vista.

Regards.
