Apperance

Im really confused and think I've tried everything at this point. My computer
auto installs updates, the last time it did this i went online and the view
was completly different. For example when i go onto yahoo or any other page
all the page info is centered with all this extra room on both sides.
Everything looks tiny. I tried to change the font, zoom etc none of it works,
i even reset my internet explorer settings i have no clue how to get the view
back to looking like a full page, it's driving me crazy, please anyone help

Re: Apperance

If you have a restore point prior to the most recent updates use it. If not,
uninstall the updates and then reinstall one by one until you find the
culprit.
For future reference, do not automatically install updates. Choose the
option to automatically download and let me choose...

Re: Apperance

Hi,
Which version of Windows?
Which version of Internet Explorer?

It sounds like your screen resolution had changed and webpages which have
the width defined (not all pages do) are simply displaying normally.

Guessing Windows XP...
Right-click the desktop> Properties> Settings, try a smaller screen.
Example: If you're at 1280 x 960 try 1024 x 768.

Hope this helps,
Don

More and more pages are trying to take a lot of that away from user control.
To get control back go to IE's accessibility options and tell it to ignore
fonts and font sizes.
