| Re: set new window to open full First, *close all other windows*. Now, grab the corners of the window you just opened and drag it to full screen size. Close the window using File | Close, or File | Exit depending what program you're in. Windows will remember the last screen size used the next time you open the program. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "shawn mcgee" <shawnmcgee@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4BDD39E1-78FE-4F64-A853-BFFEF144533F@microsoft.com... > when i open ie7 it opens full screen which is good, but when i click a > link > inside ie7 it always opens about half the size of the screen. how to i set > subsequent ie7 windows to open full size? |

| RE: set new window to open full After an update yesterday, some of my screens on the internet are not full size now. Most have a 3" margin on each side. Is this also what you are experiencing? IE version? Windows version? Many Internet sites are hardcoded to a certain width and if your window is wider it won't use the whole width. -- Frank Saunders MS-MVP IE,OE/WM www.fjsmjs.com Do not reply with email |

| Re: set new window to open full I am using IE7. Everything worked fine yesterday. Now when playing on line games, the screen is not as large as it was yesterday. Also when viewing web pages I was on before, they do not fill the screen like they did prior. Some may be in the center and some are off to the far left. It is driving me crazy! | Re: set new window to open full I just go my new computer and it was working fine until this update cam in. Now my pages are not wide screen and the front is really small. A tech told me that the service pack will fix the problem when it comes out. Does any know when that is?
