ActiveX control

I'm trying to help a friend with a problem that he has with his computer.
Everytime that he opens a new webpage a box pops up asking "Do you want to
allow software such as ActiveX control and plugins to run." You then have to
click either "Yes" or "No" to get rid of the box. This is very annoying. Can
someone tell me how to stop this message from appearing everytime he opens a
new webpage? By the way he is running IE7. Thank you.
Gordon

One, you, um, your "friend" is visiting web pages that use AX
controls; otherwise, this popup would not appear. Two, whether you
Enable, Prompt, or Disable scripting (and running AX controls) is a
security option, so go into the Internet Options -> Security tab and
configure the settings however you want for whatever security zone
under which the web page is getting rendered (probably the Internet
security zone).

Re: ActiveX control

IE Tools | Internet Options | Security | Reset all zones to the default
level (click on the button).

If the problem persists, tell me in which Security zone the webpage(s)
is/are being accessed?
