| IE7 on Vista Business Edition - Why SLOW access to APPLE website o I upgraded (via fresh install) from XP Pro to Vista Business edition. All updates were applied - I'm also running Live OneCare which is up-to-date. I noticed when trying to access Apples site to look at iPods and their computers, the access is REDICULOUSLY slow. I go to the site and wait to click one of the areas of interest (iPods, Macs, etc) and I seem to wait FOREVER. So, since I have both Firefox and Safari installed, I try both of those browsers and response is very fast. Is this just a coincidence? I know Apple is a competitor, and it seems a purposeful slowdown is unlikely - but, why is only IE7 (on Vista) access to Apple's website so PAINFULLY SLOW ???? I wouldn't be suspicous if at least one other website showed this poor performance... |
