| some pictures fail to load on websites on ie7 I'm not sure if this is a setting or need an update. I've just noticed that I am unable to view pictures on certain sites. One website is http://www.chadwicks.com/womens-BOOT...x?DeptId=16350 on other computers, I see all the pics. What i see is BOOT SALE at Chadwicks.com" style="height:180px;width:125px;border-width:0px;" /> Scrunched Boots Do I have a bug? I've tried setting restore default settings, viewing this on firefox and get the same results. |

What i see is BOOT > SALE at Chadwicks.com" > style="height:180px;width:125px;border-width:0px;" /> Scrunched Boots Try using View Source (Alt-V,c) to open whatever you are seeing in Notepad. Then make sure that Word Wrap is off (Alt-o,W) and Status bar is on (Alt-V,S) That way whenever you find whatever you're seeing you will be able to say which line and character position it is at. For example, searching up from the bottom for Boot Sale I found something which matches your description except for the Scrunched Boots detail at line 672, column 263. But there are a lot of those in the source. The only instance of > Scrunched Boots in the source is at line 539, column 182. So I suspect that what you are seeing is some of the source rendered as text for some reason. FYI various sources of interference along the path could corrupt the data stream enough to cause the symptom you are seeing. You should try identifying them and removing them in order to retest and see if your symptom changes. Unfortunately, right-click Properties only gives an approximate size for the cached file and we would like to know the exact number of bytes you received. To do that you could open the TIF Viewer to get you the path to your TIF, copy that to ClipBoard, switch to a cmd window, generate a CD /D command with that path (e.g. right-click Paste after that command fragment) and then issue: dir/s womens-BOOT-SALE[1].htm (where that particular filename is givevn by the right-click Properties of it as seen by the TIF Viewer.) FWIW doing that gives me the following exact size: 58,009 bytes > > Do I have a bug? I've tried setting restore default settings, viewing this > on firefox and get the same results. Oh. Does Firefox give you any better diagnostics? In any case, the fact that you are seeing the same symptom in two browsers almost guarantees that the cause is outside of both.
