| iGoogle not loading properly in IE7 Hi all, Recently started getting this problem with my iGoogle homepage in IE7. My customised homepage loads incorrectly; instead of the google search box coming up as normal, the icons to represent all the other Google services come up in it's place. See screenshot: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/stephe...86653291196706 So, I hit F5 to refresh, and IE7 says that the page can't be loaded at all: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/stephe...86627521392914 And it dumps me out to 'the Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' screen. I then hit F5 *again*, and iGoogle loads perfectly: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/stephe...86666176098610 I've cross-posted this on some Google help forums as well, but does this seem like a browser problem or a code problem?? It's driving me mad - help! |

| RE: iGoogle not loading properly in IE7 Immediate update: just noticed a very similar thing is happening with a listing I have on eBay - I hit refresh to get an up-to-date status, and the result is the same as the second Google screenshot. I then hit F5 again, and it comes back fine. Two different sites suggests browser problem to me. | Re: iGoogle not loading properly in IE7 Yes I had, without joy. I uninstalled IE7 and everything worked OK on IE6. Reinstalled IE7 and the problem has gone away (at the moment). | Re: iGoogle not loading properly in IE7 Hi Donald, FYI, found out the problem was that I'm using a program called IE7Pro, which has some user scripts built in. One of these was causing the problem with Google. Cheers, Steve. It looks like broken or incompatible add-ons are interfering. > > It's driving me mad - help! What happens if you use No Add-ons mode? E.g. Run... (press Win-R and enter:) iexplore.exe -nohome -extoff Hint: click on Stop or press Ctrl-t to get out of the NoHome state. BTW if that is what a Google toolbar looks like and you have it installed you might also have to *uninstall* it to test without it. Apparently Google add-ons can ignore the -extoff condition.
