| Can't view Flash webpage in IE7, Windows Vista Home Premium I am trying to view a website that runs on Flash, but the website doesn't load properly. I have the most recent version of Flash downloaded and enabled in my add-ons, I've tried clearing my cache and cookies many times, and I've even tried checking "Allow active content to run in files on my computer" under the "advanced" tab of the Internet Options. Of course, I've also tried refreshing the page over and over again, and restarting internet explorer. It's not the webpage, either, because I've seen it load on other computers. Does any one have any clue as to what's going on, why I can't view this Flash run website, and what I can do to fix it?? |

| Re: Can't view Flash webpage in IE7, Windows Vista Home Premium Hi, If it's a publicly accessible site, post a link to the site in question. Use the uninstaller at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowled...fm?id=tn_14157 Flash player download: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ If there are still problems see http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowled...fm?id=fb1634cb Download SubInACL from Microsoft to fix permission issues that prevent the Flash Player Installation. | Re: Can't view Flash webpage in IE7, Windows Vista Home Premium The Flash player itself isn't the problem. It's successfully installed and I can view Flash objects on other websites. For some reason this one particular website that's actually a DIV in Flash, won't allow me to view it. > Try uninstalling / reinstalling Flash Player. | Re: Can't view Flash webpage in IE7, Windows Vista Home Premium I didn't want to say it earlier because I didn't want to sound typical and it's kind of personal, but the website in question is my MySpace page. I'd rather not post a link, but it's not just my own page that I can't view. Other friends of mine have the same type of Flash DIV overlay for their pages and I can't view those either. The paradox is that I can view Flash objects on any other website, I just have problems viewing Flash overlays on MySpace pages. I know it's not the MySpace site itself or my own configuration of it because my friends have no problems at all viewing my page and others like it. It boggles my mind. What on Earth can it be? Version? Coding? Etc. Speculating without any significant details is rather futile. | Re: Can't view Flash webpage in IE7, Windows Vista Home Premium Hi Sandra, Check Tools>Internet Options - Advanced tab, Multi-media section, is "Play web animations" checked. Check Tools>Internet Options - Security tab, Active X settings, Scripting settings (I think "Allow scripting of Active X controls may be the one, enable it or add the site to your Trusted Sites where the default security settings allow ActiveX scripting.) Regards. | Re: Can't view Flash webpage in IE7, Windows Vista Home Premium It is checked. I'm sorry to seem so impossible, but it is checked. =\ Like I said, I can view Flash objects on any other website, just not these particular ones. It seems hopeless.
