internet connectivity

Without any changes, my computer, running Vista, reset itself, and I cannot
connect to the internet or send/receive email. What should my settings be if
I am using a Wi-Fi (Airport Express) system fed by a cable modem (this is all
working on my Mac and my wife's PC). Thanks for your help.
