| ie7 links-icons for each link Sometimes a URL has a unique icon associated with it that shows when you add a link to the website in the links toolbar. For instance www.cbc.ca shows the CBC logo in the icon to the left of the link. However sometimes I open up ie7, and the icons have reverted back to the ie7 icon to the left of the link. I have tried different methods to open up ie7 but it is hit and miss if the icons will show up again or not. Sometimes the unique icons show and sometimes not. Any ideas? Thanks |

| Re: ie7 links-icons for each link Hi, Are you clearing the IE cache (Temporary Internet Files?) Favicons are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder. The Favicons should be reaquired and displayed by IE, but it may take a while. Regardless, try FavOrg available at http://www.softpedia.com/get/Interne...s/favorg.shtml It's been reported that FavOrg works with IE7 in XP and Vista. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "TK" <TK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A3E2B7C2-B968-4394-A051-16A98B03B9F6@microsoft.com... > Sometimes a URL has a unique icon associated with it that shows when you add > a link to the website in the links toolbar.
