| IE7/Vista - web site doesn't remember sign on info Because I am forced to use dial-up internet access and because phone lines drop a lot, this is a major problem for me. On my old XP unless I logged off a (non-secure) site, then the next time I brought the site up, I would already be logged in. This doesn't happen on my new Vista. There must be a configurable option somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I've deleted all the temp files and restarted. No help. I've read all the options under all the tabs of "Tool - Internet Options" and nothing seems to apply. I've tried changing the classification of the site in question to both secure and non-secure site w/o affecting this issue. What am I missing? This situation is further complicated by the Vista's evidently extreme sensitivity to connection issues as well - lines drop all the time where they are very stable on the XP. Help? -- thanks, Independent |
