Menues items from IE6 still showing on IE7 browser

After installing IE7 I still have File Edit View Favorites Tools Help
menues in top left of broweser window even though these same functions are
elsewhere on the browser. Why would these things be duplicated when the
intent is to make the page more streamlined?

Falls under the catagory of you cant please everyone. When IE7 was first
released the "Menu Bar" was hidden by default, after much clamor, the latest
Build or IE7 has turned the Menu Bar back on by default. You can hide it if
you wish.

Good luck,

Thanks--I have now found how to hide it--I was thinking that having them show
was getting in the way of my information bar but that is not the case.
