is there a programmatic reason for IE7 (with say 4 tabs open) to take
upwards of 30 seconds to close? Firefox on the same machine with the same
number of tabs disappears almost instantly!
Not too much of a problem, just interested...

That's the difference between a real webbrowser and something else !
