IE Auto Suggest Function causes hang

IE7 with XP Pro - if I enter a web address in the address bar, the auto
suggest drop down functionality causes teh system to hang. The only way out
is a CTL+Alt+Del. The same web site entered in a google look up directs me to
the requested web site with no issues.

Re: IE Auto Suggest Function causes hang

Hi,
First try clearing the History.

Next check for an incompatible browser add-on.
See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
for troubleshooting information.

Hope this helps,
