| ie7 pdf opens in 2 inch wide window Using IE 7.0.5730.11 & Adobe Reader 8.1.1. Opening pdf files from IE7 results in a 2 in wide window which can be expanded to full screen. Tried, without solving problem, (1) deleting and reinstalling Reader, (2) unchecking Adobe Reader preference "Display PDF in browser". This resulted in the IE 2 inch window opening with nothing in it followed by the Adobe Reader program opening the pdf file. How do I get IE to open pdf files in a larger window? Problem is unique to opening a pdf file from IE - other file types are ok. Could this be a corrupted registry entry?? Any help appreciated. |

| Re: ie7 pdf opens in 2 inch wide window Hi, Try this... Open a webpage. Stretch it out to fullsize. Don't use maximize. Choose any link on that webpage and right-click> open in a new window. Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize. Close the first IE window. Then close that second resized window. To always get a true maximized window...
