| IE 7 won't start When attempting to start IE 7, I get the following message: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: iexplore.exe Application Version: 7.0.6000.16546 Application Timestamp: 46c64caf Fault Module Name: ophookSE2.dll Fault Module Version: 12.0.0.1 Fault Module Timestamp: 3eba2acd Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00004eef OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.6 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 8d13 Additional Information 2: cdca9b1d21d12b77d84f02df48e34311 Additional Information 3: 8d13 Additional Information 4: cdca9b1d21d12b77d84f02df48e34311 Read our privacy statement: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?link...3&clcid=0x0409 If I go back and reset everything to default, it starts, but as soon as I select a search provider or change the homepage, I get the same message on start up. The only thing I can do is get the runonce page and that's it. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Re: IE 7 won't start There are patches available for these products at nuance.com. If your software was bundled with a Canon product (ie OmniPage SE) then you must go to http://www.nuance.com/vista/omnipage/canon/ to recieve the patch. | Re: IE 7 won't start Uninstalling Omnipage worked. IE7 is restored to full function. I will also go to the website you mentioned for the patch as Omnipage did come with a Canon printer.
