| Internet Explorer Discuss IE7 or any other IE version. |

| IE 7 cannot display the webpage... All of a sudden I am not able to access any website using IE 7. This only occurs for the administrator user. If I switch user accounts, the other user can access websites with no problem. I've gone to the command prompt and pinged various sites and all works fine. It's not a connectivity issue because I'm able to access the Internet from another PC using the same router. I've reset all IE settings and the problem still occurs. The OS is Windows XP Professional. |

Same happens if you temporarily disable whatever software firewall you are running (or configure it to Allow All connects)? |

For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus, whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you owe it to the author.
