| IE7 piece of gosse I work for a company that has 40 client workstations & 5 servers. I am running IE7 on all clients and servers. I only have a problem with 1 of my servers, my PDC and File Server (same machine) I can get to google.com or microsoft just fine but when I try to access symantec or veritas, basically lots of tech websites I can not reach it. I don't get a page displaying could not display this webpage or DNS error it just takes forever. My network setup is Fiber to Cisco ASA 5510 Pix to Gigabit switch I've flushed the dns cache, cleaned out all setting of IE (Temp, history, cookies), disabled all Add-On settings and re-enabled them, but nothing works. This isn't so much a problem as it a frustration. Firefox works fine and will open any site I go to. Does anybody have any idea or advice regarding this problem. |

My AV also has spyware/malware/ adware protection. That did not seem to fix the problem though. My current thought is to basically uninstall IE7. Do you have any other thoughts on what it could be. I'm stumped. Thanks, Jeffrey Emper |
