IE7 Back button bug

In IE7 when I browse www.imdb.com and then click "back" button to go back, I
have to do it 3 times until it actually goes back.

Everytime I click back it closes an ad in the page and after their all
closed it goes back.

I have a hosts file that blocks ad sites but I also have Firefox and Firefox
dont have that problem even with the ads blocked.

Re: IE7 Back button bug

If IE 7, Try Tools, internet options, Advanced tab, scroll down to security
section, check 'Allow active content to run in files on my computer'.

Note that there is a slight loss of security if you do this, and, for
example Spybot S&D will flag it.

Re: IE7 Back button bug

Better yet, on the next patch they should just make sure the code directs the
back button to go back to the previous main page. Browsing backward through
a set of revolving ads is not, I would imagine, something that's high on the
average web surfer's list of fun things to do.
