| help, desperate. Hi I own a business and have a teens working that won't stay off the internet. I had put in a password for internet enabling and disabling. My password has been forgotten and I cannot get in and disable them from surfing the net. Is there any way to do this? |

| Re: help, desperate. > Hi I own a business and have a teens working that won't stay off the > internet. How do their systems connect to the outside world (the internet)? Presumably this is through some central connection. You may be able to block sites you disapprove of at that point, or interpose a device that will between your connection and your workers. My employer does this very effectively, but then they have almost unlimited resources. Fortunately, sites that interest teens, and sites critical to business have absolutely zero overlap, so you can be brutally effective. Unbelievably, some UK unions are insisting that being able to goof off on the internet at your employers expense is an inalienable human right. I won't be voting for them. -- Steve Swift http://www.swiftys.org.uk/swifty.html http://www.ringers.org.uk |
