When using my wife's computer (Windows Me and IE 6) we get the following
error message when we attempt to print from a web page or attempt to print
an email from Outlook Express:

Internet Explorer Script Error

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Error: Incompatible version of the RPC stubs

That is the end of this message.
Regardless whether we click on YES, NO, or the X in the upper right corner,
it does the some thing. The error window closes, but it doesn't print. If
I click on print again, we get the same error message and you can go round
in circles. It will print from other programs not on the Internet where you
don't use IE or Outlook Express like Word or Notepad.

Does anyone know what the fix is for this specific Script Error Message. I
have searched the Microsoft web site and found a IE Script error 5.6 update,
but it didn't fix my problem. When you Google "Internet Explorer Script
Error" you get several pages of urls that attempt to sell you Registry
fixers and cleaners. They all claim free downloads or trials, but the
download turns out to be a free scan but no fixes, unless you pay for a
registered version. They all promise the moon if you pay. Frankly, I don't
trust or like that way of doing business. Any help would be appreciated.
