Where are IE Passwords Stored?

I like to store user ID's and passwords for certain websites I visit
frequently but I also run a couple utilities to "clean up" unnecessary
stuff. I don't want to delete any stored passwords but am not sure
what directory to ignore when doing the cleanup.

Can anyone direct me? It's probably a hidden file but I can find it
if I know what it is.

Pat

Re: Where are IE Passwords Stored?

Well, in the first place, you have to tell us how you store user IDs and
passwords. AutoComplete? Cookies? Third-party programs?

Secondly, once you gain more experience with computing I believe you'll
come to the understanding that, with few exceptions, your "clean up"
utilities don't accomplish anything tangible.
