IE7 and clearing history

I know that with Firefox, when I close the browser, it automatically clears
out my history and all the websites that are in the address bar. Is there a
way to have IE7 do this as well? I already know that I can change the
number of days that things are in history to 0, but I want to be able to
close the browser and have it all gone right then.

Thanks!

Re: IE7 and clearing history

Hi,
You will need a third-party program such as:
(Both of these are freeware/donationware)

CCleaner www.ccleaner.com - can be configured to clear many items on startup

IE Privacy Keeper: http://browsertools.net/IE-Privacy-Keeper/index.html -
can be configured to clear many items when the browser is closed

Hope this helps,
Don

Good find, Michel! Thanks.

BTW your newsreader inserted a lineend prematurely in the URL.
Fixed above.

Re: IE7 and clearing history

Privacy Keeper is a good program.... except after a couple days, it stopped
deleting the history. It still deletes the saved addresses in the address
bar when I closed IE, though...
