Ctrl+O in IE7 stopped working

I'm using IE 7 with XP...

The Ctrl+O key commands as well as the drop down menu
File, Open...have stopped working.

This just occured about 7 days ago.

Particularly odd is that this is affecting TWO different computers
in two different locations.

Thoughts?

Re: Ctrl+O in IE7 stopped working

Hi Steve,

This is only a guess, try minimizing the IE7 window. Is the Open/Run dialog
displayed?

Does this occur if you run IE7 in no Addons mode?

What happens when you minimize and then restore the IE7 Window?

I am guessing that something is hiding the Open/Run dialog.

You can also launch the Open/Run dialog with {Windows Key}+R

Regards.

Did you recently install or update a program on both computers?

What if you right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Start Without
Add-ons?
Or go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No Add-ons).
