Dell Notebook needs IE 7.0

I'm trying to install a wireless connection to my notebook (Window 2000
Profesional), but it needs IE 5.5 or higher installed in the computer before
the software with the wireless connection can be installed.
So I just a link that can send me to a Download for IE 7.0 to put on my
flash drive or that I can burn to a disk.
Then I could run it on the notebook.

Re: Dell Notebook needs IE 7.0

Internet Explorer 7 won't install on Win2K. You can find Internet
Explorer 6 SP 1 on the Microsoft web site.

Re: Dell Notebook needs IE 7.0

IE7 cannot be installed in Windows 2000.

Is the machine fully patched at Windows Update and are you currently running
IE6?

If you're running IE6, post the complete (verbatim) error message you're
getting that says you need IE5.5 or higher.
