IE 7 gives the error message EVERY single time I click on the x .

Im still on windows xp and Im using IE 7 and lately everytime I click on the
close button the error popup and closes the window and more and more it
closes ALL of the windows...and its starting to really anger me. It is
occurring with more frequency as well. I do have a firewall and antispyware
running. THe microsoft one care in fact. What's going? Im thinking of
getting furryfox and abandoning IE..but Im so used to it and like it.

Re: IE 7 gives the error message EVERY single time I click on the x .

1. Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode?

To start IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; or

Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No
add-ons).

2. Does the problem persist if you Reset IE7 Settings (RIES)?

3. If you uninstall (a) IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6), (b)
all toolbars and (c) all third-party Windows Themes (including Window
Blinds) and don't reinstall IE7, does this behavior persist?
