Why can I not start a new question (thread) with IE7?

I have a workstation that is running XP and IE7. I had a need to post a
question in the Accounting forums and could not launch a new question. I am
now posting using another XP workstation on my network. It has IE6 still
installed.

I'll bet there is a simple answer, that I'm missing something obvious in the
configuration of IE7.

Do you have a pop-up blocker program installed on your computer? Or do you
have a toolbar installed that has pop-up blocker functionality? Try
disabling these, and just use IE's pop-up blocking function. If this is not
the case, try adding the site www.microsoft.com as an allowed site by going
to Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings.

Best option of all: Use a newsreader. That's how news was meant to be read.

Re: Why can I not start a new question (thread) with IE7?

I can't believe I got caught by a pop-up blocker! That was the problem.
Thanks for the solution!
