| Apparent Adware problem I desperately need some help. I have always had Yahoo open whenever I opened IE7, however, as of late what opens up instead of Yahoo is a adware trying to sell me antivirus software. The url shows up as "asecurityservice.com". I don't know who these people are, they just invaded my computer and driving me crazy. It won't allow me to go anywhere, unless I delete it and then select Yahoo, but a while later, there it is again. Please help!! |

| Re: Apparent Adware problem Since malicious software can be very hard to detect, you want to thoroughly scan your system with /several/ of the better online scanners (Kaspersky, Eset, Trend Micro, Panda, Sophos, Symantec etc.) and, if necessary, submit a HiJack This log to one of the expert web sites that analyze these logs. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Nelmar wrote: > I desperately need some help. | RE: Apparent Adware problem http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html Go to the above link, and download "Spybot Search & Destroy". Install it, get the updates for it, then scan your computer with it. Whatever it comes up with, DELETE At last count it looks for 66,000+ different types of Malware, Keyloggers, etc. "Nelmar" wrote: > I desperately need some help.
