| IE6 and BACK Button Hello. I'm using IE6 and am creating html output on the fly using xslt. The original html output is fine. However, the following steps produce an error: 1. I move part way down my document using the Page Down key. 2. I take an internal link (same documant, new position all in the same window). 3. I press the BACK button. I expected to go back to the position in the document from where I took the internal link. The result was that I moved to that position momentarily, then jumped to the top of the document. More information: I can use a set of XML Tools to look at the output of the xslt. If I take this output and cut and paste it into a file, and display this file in IE6, the BACK button works correctly. I've put in some JavaScript to try to pin down where the problem is. Its as if the "real time" html gets rendered one extra time by IE6! If anyone can help with this ........... Thanks, Larry Mohr |

| Re: IE6 and BACK Button Hi Lawrence, What Back button? To move within a document use the Tab and Shift+Tab keys. The Backspace key will navigate backwards between link tags (deletes characters or a selection within a textbox). The Back Navigation button loads the previous page viewed from the domain. You are in fact reloading the page because of your testing environment. I works when you use a hardcoded local page because you have no history.
