I am having a couple of problems with my IE7.

1) When I close a tab window my entire IE7 closes. Is there a way I can fix
this?

2) Also, all of the web pages are very plain. They have a white background
and don't always show all the links in the windows. I.E. When I go to
myspace and I click to view my profile, I should see disco balls that flash
and all I see is a white background. Another example is when i go to another
person's myspace page i can't see any of the links to send them an e-mail or
invite them to be a friend etc... If anyone has a solution to my question i
would greatly appreciate it.

* have you tried starting and using IE without add-ons? [Windows-key] + R ->
iexplore -extoff -> Enter.
* If that doesn't help, try setting IE's configuration to the standard
configuration: Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Reset...

Please report if any of these worked.

Internet Explorer 7 may exit unexpectedly when multiple tabs are open, and
you close a tab that contains a non-HTML file
