| Re: Wrong application opens file The file that gives the error is a *.tif file. It opens with Quicktime. The *.tif file is generated by my fax machine within the network. If the fax contains more then 1 page I can only see the first. IE version is 7 regards "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM" wrote: > "TPSMNOW" <TPSMNOW@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:56BEF353-80A6-406E-B9AD-8D976B80B0A3@microsoft.com... > > If I try to open a certain file within IE it opens it up with the wrong > > apllication. | Re: Wrong application opens file I'll bet when QuickTime was installed it set itself as the defaullt for TIF files, thinking of TIFF images. Save one of the riles, Shift-right click it, choose your FAX program, and make sure "Always use this program" is checked. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Do not send mail.
